I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Barbara & Arnar's stunning destination wedding in Verona, Italy, at the enchanting Villa Cariolla. These two Icelanders had an unforgettable celebration, and working alongside the talented Pink Iceland team in a completely different setting was such a rewarding experience.


The wedding weekend kicked off with a delicious pizza rehearsal dinner. It set the tone for the relaxed yet joyful celebration that was to come. We all gathered in a beautiful restaurant, enjoying the warm Italian evening, great food, and wonderful company.

The following day was the wedding day, and it was nothing short of magical. We drove by the picturesque Garda Lake for some intimate portraits with Barbara & Arnar before the ceremony. The serene water, lush greenery, and charming Italian landscape provided a perfect backdrop for capturing those special moments. Lunch by the lake was equally delightful. It was the perfect time for the couple to relax and soak in the atmosphere before the big event.


As we made our way back to Villa Cariolla, the excitement was building for the outdoor ceremony. And oh, was it hot! As much as the Icelandic guests love their sunshine, even they couldn’t escape the sweltering heat that day. But nothing could dampen the joy and anticipation that filled the air. The ceremony, held outside the villa, was filled with emotion as Barbara & Arnar exchanged vows in front of their loved ones, set against the breathtaking views of the Verona countryside.


After the ceremony, the festivities continued with a lively band leading the guests to the dinner area. The reception setting was truly stunning, surrounded by the beauty of Verona's fields. The warm golden light and the natural beauty of the area made it a perfect setting for an unforgettable evening.


The wedding ended with everyone enjoying ice cream from a charming ice cream van. The crowd filled the dance floor, and the party went on until the late hours, with everyone celebrating in true Italian style.

Barbara & Arnar, thank you for letting me be part of your dream wedding in Italy. It was a joy to witness and capture these memories for you. Here's to love, adventure, and many more beautiful moments together!
