Having met William years ago while working side by side at a café, I had the pleasure of witnessing the beautiful love story between Birgitta and William unfold. From their early days of dating to capturing the magic of their special day, it was a true honor.
Despite the rain that persisted throughout the day, the weather gods smiled upon them, halting the downpour just in time for their exit, the photoshoot at Klveifarvatn, and the heartfelt dinner that followed.
The ceremony took place in the charming Fríkirkjan in Hafnarfjörður, a setting that added an extra layer of warmth to their vows. As a photographer, I seized the opportunity to whisk them away from the city hustle for a memorable photoshoot at the serene Kleifarvatn, creating timeless images against the breathtaking Icelandic backdrop.
Birgitta and William's wedding day, with its unexpected rain and moments of respite, became a testament to their enduring love. From seeing them falling in love to life partners, their journey reached a beautiful milestone, and it was my privilege to capture the essence of their love on this remarkable day.
On a day as special as your wedding, choosing a photographer is a decision no one should take lightly. Having Laimonas capture our amazing day was a decision that was very easy for us. He managed to make the day amazing, despite the rainy chapters. Spending the day with Laimonas was fun and easy and definitely worth it. Getting a few sneak peak photos the following day was something we were not expecting so soon, it was a very pleasant surprise.
