Last year, at the Way Up North conference in Berlin, I had the pleasure of meeting the talented photographer Dana Batikóvá from Prague - https://danabatikova.cz/ . Recently, Dana shared her plan to visit Iceland with her husband for a brief trip, during which she hope to explore our beautiful country. She mentioned her interest in adding a styled elopement shoot to her portfolio, which got Anní and me thinking.
Inspired by Dana's work and the unique perspective she brings, we thought it would be a great idea to turn this into a mini workshop. We have contacted various vendors who wish to collaborate with us such as 2 couples ready for an adventure, bridal and jewelry shop from Prague, flower shop in Reykjavik etc. We would like to invite you to join us for a day of photography on Sunday, April 7th.
Here's the agenda :
- 10:00: Meet at the Sunday & White Studio for introductions by Dana and me coffee and light refreshments.
- 12:00: Departure from Reykjavík to Hvalfjörður.
- 13:00 - 15:00: Photography session with Couple No. 1 at two locations in Hvalfjörður.
- 15:00 - 16:30: Enjoy a late lunch at Hvamsvík.
- 16:30: Head to Þórufoss for a sunset "elopement" shoot ( at least the weather seems like promising one on that Sunday, as you guys know hard to be 100% sure that it will be like that).
- 17:00 - 19:00: Continue photographing Couple No. 2 at the waterfall and panoramic area, with a picnic setup.
- 19:00: Return to Reykjavík.
- 20:00: Wrap up the day with drinks and light refreshments at the studio.

- Guidance and workshops led by Dana and me.
- Personalized feedback sessions.
- Refreshments throughout the day, including lunch at Hvamsvík.
- Transportation to all locations from Reykjavík.
