The couple exchanged vows in a traditional ásatrú ceremony, beautifully led by goði Haukur, with their closest loved ones gathered around. After the ceremony, we enjoyed a charming Icelandic picnic by the lake, expertly arranged by the talented Valdi from Pink Iceland, adding a touch of local flavor to the day’s magic.
As the evening approached, we headed to Reykjavík, where the celebration continued with cocktails before dinner at the Pink Tower, allowing everyone to relax and toast to the newlyweds. The wedding dinner was filled with laughter and joy, and in a touching surprise, Tara’s brother proposed to his partner, with Tara and Shane’s blessing to share the special moment.
