The last day of the Icelandic summer arrived with a moody embrace—gloomy skies, wind sweeping through the city, and rain draping Reykjavík in its melancholic charm. But for Unnur and Arnar, this day was nothing short of magical. The ceremony itself was filled with emotion—soft smiles, joyful tears, and the warmth of two families coming together. As Unnur and Arnar sealed their love with a kiss, the church bells rang out, marking the beginning of their next chapter.
A Toast at Kvennaskólinn
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Kvennaskólinn, the newly opened venue housed in what was once the legendary Nasa club. There, they raised their glasses to the newlyweds, reminiscing about old memories and making new ones. The blend of modern elegance with a touch of nostalgia made it the perfect setting for a celebratory drink before the evening festivities began.
An Enchanting Dinner in the Main Dining Hall

Við gætum ekki mælt meira með Laimonas
Við giftum okkur í lok ágúst og vildum leggja áherslu á að fá fallegar myndir af deginum. Við höfum bæði miklar skoðanir á ljósmyndun og skoðuðum fjölda brúðkaupsljósmyndara. Eftir að við sáum myndir eftir Laimonas þá loksins fundum við nákvæmlega það sem við vorum að leita að og svo miklu meira en það.
Laimonas hitti okkur til að fara yfir daginn og var með margar gôðar hugmyndir og skilning á því hvernig dagurinn yrði. Okkur líkaði strax vel við hann, hann er hlýr og húmorískur, skipulagður, traustur, skilningsríkur og var allur að vilja gerður til að koma til móts við okkur.
Hann var síðan í emailsamskiptum, sendi okkur plan fyrir daginn og hringdi í mig daginn fyrir brúðkaupið.
Veðrið var slæmt á brúðkaupsdaginn en hann vann ótrúlega vel með það og náði myndum utandyra og á frumlegum stöðum innandyra.
Hann er einstaklega þægilegur í umgengni og lætur öllum líða vel, bæði okkur tveimur en ekki síður þeim sem voru í kirkjunni eða fjölskyldumyndatöku.
Við fengum nokkrar myndir daginn eftir giftinguna og Vá! Þær voru geggjaðar. Hann hefur einstakt lag á að ná bæði eðlilegum og tilgerðarlausum myndum en ekki síður listrænum og fallegum.
